YOUR DAY IN THE MOUNTAINSSample Itinerary
Local Knowledge: We run our itinerary in reverse to the big tour companies. That means you hit Scenic World first thing when it opens (virtually no queues) and Featherdale last when the crowds have gone. Same attractions, way better experience. That's what 9 years of running these tours teaches you.
7:00am — Depart Sydney CBD Meet at St Andrews Cathedral, Bathurst Street (opposite Town Hall Station). Settle into your luxury seat, connect to Bluetooth if you've got a playlist, and relax as we head west.
8:30am — Scenic World (if added) We arrive right as it opens — while other tours are still at wildlife parks across Sydney. Experience the Scenic Railway (world's steepest passenger railway at 52°), the glass-floor Skyway suspended 270m above the valley, the Cableway, and the Rainforest Walkway through ancient Jurassic-era forest. Pre-booked tickets + early arrival = virtually no queues.
10:30am — Cahills Lookout A hidden gem most tours skip completely — and it's right near Scenic World so we hit it while we're there. Sweeping panoramic views over Megalong Valley and the Blue Mountains wine country. Bring your camera.
11:00am — Echo Point & Three Sisters The most iconic view in the Blue Mountains. Your guide shares the Dreamtime story of Meehni, Wimlah and Gunnedoo — three sisters turned to stone by their father to protect them from a dangerous bunyip. Time to soak it in and grab photos.
12:00pm — Lunch in Leura or Katoomba If you've added the Cafe Lunch package, enjoy a proper sit-down meal at a mountain village cafe. Choose off the menu — burgers, wraps, salads, fish & chips, pasta, vegetarian and vegan options. All dietary requirements catered for. One drink included.
No lunch package? No stress — you'll have free time to explore and grab your own. Plenty of cafes, bakeries, and takeaway spots.
1:00pm — Lincoln's Rock / Kings Tableland This is the one for your profile picture. A flat rocky outcrop perched on the edge of a sheer cliff face with unobstructed 180-degree views over Jamison Valley and Mt Solitary. No fences, no crowds, no filter needed — just raw Australian wilderness.
1:30pm — Wentworth Falls Bushwalk Our guided bushwalk takes you through eucalyptus forest to one of the Blue Mountains' most spectacular waterfalls — a 187-metre drop into the Valley of the Waters. 60-90 minutes depending on group fitness. Clifftop tracks, multiple lookout points, incredible photo ops. We offer half-point turnaround options for anyone less mobile — no one gets left behind.
3:00pm — Featherdale Wildlife Park (if added) We arrive mid-afternoon when the morning crowds have cleared out. Get face-to-face with koalas, hand-feed kangaroos, meet wombats, echidnas, and Tasmanian devils. The animals are more relaxed, you've got more space, and you'll get better photos. One of the best wildlife experiences near Sydney.
~5:00pm — Arrive back Sydney CBD Drop-off at St Andrews Cathedral, Bathurst Street. You're right near Town Hall Station for easy connections.
Itinerary times are approximate and may vary based on weather, traffic, and group preferences. Private tours are fully customised to suit you.

Three Sisters & Echo Point
The most photographed landmark in the Blue Mountains. Three towering sandstone pillars rising from the Jamison Valley, formed over millions of years and steeped in Aboriginal Dreamtime legend. Your guide shares the story of three sisters from the Katoomba tribe turned to stone.
Lincoln's Rock / Kings Tableland
A dramatic flat rock platform perched on the edge of a sheer cliff. Unobstructed 180-degree views across Jamison Valley to Mt Solitary and beyond. This is where you get that jaw-dropping photo — no fences, no crowds, just you and the vastness of the Australian bush.
Wentworth Falls
One of the most spectacular waterfalls in the Blue Mountains — a 187-metre cascade dropping into the Valley of the Waters. Our guided bushwalk takes you along clifftop tracks through eucalyptus forest to multiple viewing platforms.
Cahills Lookout
Our secret weapon. Overlooking Megalong Valley and the Blue Mountains wine country, this is a spot most big tour companies don't bother with. We reckon it's unmissable — sweeping views, usually uncrowded, and stunning at any time of day.
Scenic World
Home to the Scenic Railway (world's steepest passenger railway at 52°), the glass-floor Skyway suspended 270 metres above the valley, the Cableway, and the Rainforest Walkway through ancient Jurassic-era forest. An absolute must-do for first-timers.
Featherdale Wildlife Park
One of Australia's best wildlife experiences. Hand-feed kangaroos, get up close with koalas (photo opportunities available), and meet wombats, Tasmanian devils, echidnas, dingoes, and native birds. More intimate than the big zoos, better encounters.
Leura & Katoomba Villages
Charming mountain villages with tree-lined streets, art galleries, antique shops, bookstores, and excellent cafes. A world away from Sydney's pace. We include time to wander and soak up the vibes.
